Superwinch Introduces it's new Freedom Switch Wireless Remote Control system for utility winch applications

PUTNAM, CONN, JANUARY 2005 - Long sought after by utility trailer owners, Superwinch's new Freedom Switch Wireless Remote Control system enables wireless winch operation from up to 150 feet away. Designed to work with any solenoid-switched Superwinch, the system simply connects to the remote control socket of the winch for easy "plug and play" operation. Unique to Superwinch is the additional control box which can be remotely mounted for manual power ON and OFF along with a secondary winch operation control. The system includes two remote controls, control box, antenna, and wiring harness with connecting plug.

Superwinch "ATV" Series

PUTNAM, CONN, JUNE 2004 - All-terrain vehicle owners can now select a Superwinch system to match their riding style and ATV capacity. With line pull ratings ranging from 1,800 to 3,000 lb., the DC powered, electric ATV winch series can reliably tackle any pulling job whether the vehicle is used for work or play.

With a weight range from 13 to 15 pounds, Superwinch's three ATV models, ATV1800, ATV2300 and ATV3000, provide the industry's best weight to line pull ratio. All three models include the new sealed solenoid system and handlebar mounted, sealed weather-resistant roggle switch for easy, improved operation. The new solenoid also results in a lower current draw and cooler running temperature, a plus for those big pulling jobs. The series is also set up for Superwinch's new Freedom Switch, a wireless control system for remote operation up to 150 feet.

Manufactured to Superwinch's meticulous standards, the rugged, reliable ATV series features Power In/Power Out for total load control, free-spooling drum for quick line payout, 50-feet of cable, mechanical and dynamic braking, single stage, high-speed planetary gearing and circuit breaker protection. All Superwinch ATV winches come with mounting hardware and color-coded wiring harness for quick, pain-free, installation.

Superwinch "EP" Series

Putnam, CT, June 2004 - Superwinch introduces their new EP Series of self-recovery winches for users who need an efficient, yet powerful, pulling solution. These full-featured winching systems are offered in both integrated and non-integrated switching configurations for versatile installation and built to provide years of functional use.

The EP6.0 and EPi6.0 have rated line pulls of 6,000 pounds, 3.6 horsepower series-wound motors, and 80 feet of 5/16" diameter aircraft grade wire rope. The EP9.0 and EPi9.0 have rated line pulls of 9,000 pounds, 4.6 horsepower series-wound motors, and 125 feet of 5/16" diameter aircraft grade wire rope.

All EP Series models feature reliable, sealed switching solenoids, power-in/power-out operation, and include a free-spooling drum, efficient three-stage planetary gearbox, automatic mechanical brake, hand-held remote, roller fairlead and pulley block, forged hook with safety latch, hand saver, battery cables with terminals, in either 12 or 24 volt configurations.

Installation is quick and easy with only two wires to connect. Solenoids on EP units are furnished pre-mounted to the winch motor but can be easily mounted remotely. The EPi units have fully integrated solenoids, also reducing installation time. All models are supplied with the newly-designed rugged rubber handheld remote for operation up to 15 feet away.

Superwinch "GP" Series - Superwinch introduces new series of workhorse winches designed for utility applications.

PUTNAM, CONN, JUNE 2004 - Don't let the compact size and functional utility line pull ratings fool you. Superwinch's new GP Series is loaded with big winch features, backed by the company's traditional reliability and rugged construction.

Superwinch, a leader in automotive, ATV and trailer winches, introduces the GP line of electric utility winches with single line pull ratings ranging from 1,800 to 3,000 pounds, built to tackle the toughest pulling jobs with power to spare. In addition, all models come standard with a pulley block, nearly doubling their pulling capacities

The three GP models, GP1800, GP2300 and GP3000 (the model number reflects the unit's line-pull rating) include Superwinch's new sealed solenoid system for easy, improved operation and reduced current draw. With horsepower ratings from 0.71 to 1.1 and weighing in at 15 pounds or less, the GP Series also offers the option of Superwinch's new Freedom Switch, a wireless control system for remote operation up to 150 feet.

Superwinch "S" Series Winches: New Features, New Beefier Models -- Introduction of sealed solenoid system and power upgrades for Superwinch's line of trailer winches.

Putnam, CT, June 2004 - Traditionally the choice of racers, the new Superwinch S series of trailer winches are more powerful, more efficient, even better looking and up to any pulling challenge.

A New Line of Winches
The three new models, the S3000, S4000 and S5000 with line pull ratings of 3,000-, 4,000- and 5,000 pounds respectively, feature Superwinch's new integrated, sealed, waterproof solenoid system for improved operation and significantly lower current draw, plus a rugged new rubber 15' hand-held. All three new S Series units offer Superwinch's new Freedom Switch, a wireless control system for remote operation up to 150 feet. With a horsepower rating range from 1.3 to 2.1 and weighing less than 42 pounds, the new S Series trailer winches offer more pulling power per pound than any winch on the market.
