Superwinch Unveils Patent Pending Integrated Dual Winch Control
Superwinch, the largest privately-held winch manufacturer in the world, announced the unveiling of the company’s pending patent for integrated Dual Winch Control, a key feature in the company’s newly unveiled EXP Series of winches.
Today’s winches are built to be operated with wired or wireless controllers. Superwinch devised a method that automatically switches between a wired and wireless connection. The system hinges on sensors in the socket – when a wired remote is plugged in, the winch smartly turns off wireless connectivity. When the wired remote is unplugged, it begins searching its uniquely paired wireless device.
“We’re thrilled to continue to bring winching innovation like integrated dual winch control to Superwinch ,” says Superwinch VP of Sales and Marketing, Scott Salmon. “From our winching app ROAM to our new integrated winch control, Superwinch is in the business of smart winching.”
The Superwinch EXP Series features 8,000, 10,000 and 12,000 pound capacities; wire or synthetic rope; and integrated design or non-integrated design for remote solenoid box installations. The Superwinch EXP Series will be assembled in the USA from globally sourced parts.
